Late-Start Information

In the event of inclimate weather - the District may call for a "late-start." School will start exactly 2 hours later than normal (10:12). All buses will run exactly 2 hours later. Please check with local media for information.

 

Important Dates

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday March 19 and Thursday March 20 from 3:30 to 6:45pm. Please call the office to schedule an appointment.

Early Release on Friday, March 7 at 12:30pm. (Lunch will be served)

No School for students on Friday, March 21.

CSAP testing begins on March 4, 5, 6 and again 12, 13, 14.

Congratulations to Kaley Ragan, Tricia Earl, Ashley Algien, Amanda Hauble, Malorie Castillo and Raine Garlock-Lawrence for being selected to the 2008 Arkansas Valley Middle School Honor Choir. Their practice and performance will take place on Monday, March 3 at Otero Junior College in La Junta.

SCHOOL HOURS ARE 8:07AM TO 3:12PM

If your student is tardy in the morning, a parent MUST sign them in at the office.  First hour tardies are counted the same as other classes during the day.  On the fifth tardy there is a consequence for your child.

I have Scholastic book orders.  If you would like to order books, just pick up the forms from my room and return the order to me in an envelope with your name and amount written on the envelope. All orders are placed at end of the month and take about two weeks to arrive.  Order books and help support my classroom library!
